EXOTICA The exotic white orchid promotes healing of the body, mind and spirit on all levels. I used subtle shading of whites and pinks in this version because white light is a natural pain reliever, increasing and maintaining energy while relieving depression and inertia. And blushing pink to symbolize a shy modesty about the important role this flower plays in awakening our creative energy. To create Exotica I used a combination of multi-layered digital photo painting, sculpted archival paper, pastels, acrylics and watercolor. The 23"x29" piece is framed with acid-free, floating mats under museum glass. Hanging hardware is in place on the black dimensional gallery frame. Also included with the original is a Certificate of Authenticity and a photo of the artist creating Exotica. Prints are also available.
